Free Open Weekend

Our free bowls open weekend will be on 21st and 22nd April 2012, between 2pm and 5pm. Our open weekend is a great chance for you or your friends to try out bowls. At Norton we have a Bowls England qualified coach who can help you to learn bowls if you have never played before as well as giving you tips to help you. We have a plenty of woods and equipment for you to practice with, all we ask is that your wear flat shoes. Bowls is a fantastic way to meet friends, try a new sport or even to get fit. All ages are welcome to try bowls and we offer discounted memberships for new members. If you would like more information about the weekend or even about the game of bowls please do not hesitate to contact the club by visiting our contact us page.

Subscriptions

The club (especially our treasurer) would really appriciate it you payed your members subscriptions nice and early. They don not have to be payed in one go but the money would help the club to pay winter bills. Thanks.

Also if you have any details that have change, don't forget to tell Paul Billson as he will need to update them on the 2012 Members List.

Vice President

Unfortunately Judy Billson has had to step down from her position as Vice President due to ill health. This means that Lesley Leader will now be Vice president instead of Junior Vice President and so will be president for the 2013 season. Everyone at Norton would like to wish Good Luck to Lesley and we would also like to wish Judith the best.

2011 Season

Unfortunately the 2011 season is now well and truely over. Over the past year the club has had it's ups and downs however the 2011 season has seen Norton BC come 4th in the Stevenage and district mixed league (Final League Table). This is an improvmant on the 2010 season, so congratulations to everyone at Norton.
